Patna (Bihar) [India], March 22: Vidyakul students came out with shining colours at the state and district level in the Bihar Board Intermediate Exams for 2023 in the results that were announced by the Bihar Board Examination Committee on Tuesday.

Seven of the top 10 rankers in the state in the Bihar Board Intermediate Exams are students of Vidyakul, an online coaching platform committed to providing quality education to students. Additionally, 22 other Vidyakul students were toppers in their respective districts, a mark of the high-quality teaching imparted by the institute and its growing popularity among students and teachers. As many as 1,722 students were ranked first in the 38 districts in the state.

Vidyakul emerged as the educational institute with the highest number of toppers in the Bihar Board Intermediate Exams. Out of more than 13,000 students who had enrolled for Vidyakul’s classes, seven were among the toppers at the state level, 57 at the district level, and 272 students were the toppers in their respective schools.

The Vidyakul application provided free education to 70,000 students this year. Students of Science and Arts streams dominated the results. Sixty per cent of these students were girls. Vidyakul will soon make an announcement about the felicitation of the state and district toppers.

The 3-day event, which commenced on March 10, 2023, saw the curtains falling down on it on March 12, 2023.

The objective of this event was to invite participants to get “free tattoos” in return for a humble contribution. Precisely, the tattoo studio encouraged participants to come forward and donate art supplies. Underprivileged children were to receive these art supplies.

The event witnessed an unexceptional number of footfalls, not just from tattoo enthusiasts looking to flaunt a mesmerizing tattoo free of cost but from many other people who tagged along to cheer for the initiative.

Going by the numbers, the turnaround of participants at the event was a whopping 410 individuals. All the participants were full of enthusiasm and vigour. One of the participants went on record to claim, “For the longest time, I had been considering getting a tattoo. However, I was unsure of the studio and tattoo artist I should approach. That is when a friend told me about the Rangcharitra initiative organized by Sam Tattoo India. Instantly, I decided this was where I would like to get my first tattoo. I thought a studio that thinks deeply about unprivileged children would definitely deliver the best to its clients. And I must say that is what I experienced here today.”

Guwahati: Assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed the state assembly that the Indo- Bangladesh border along Assam’s Dhubri district is a ‘hot zone of crime’, including cattle smuggling and the BSF has to maintain strict vigil in the area.

While replying to a question by AIUDF legislator Nazrul Hoque, Sarma said, “The India-Bangladesh border is a sensitive area due to various reasons. Cattle smuggling, illegal trade of other items, etc are attempted frequently and hence, the BSF has to take a lot of precautionary steps.”

Sarma, who also holds the Home portfolio, said prohibitory orders under CrPC section 144 are in force within 500 metres of the Indo-Bangla border from 6 pm to 5 am daily.”

In 2021, a total of 1181 cases were registered in the border district, 612 vehicles seized, 1326 people arrested, 13,000 cattle heads seized and 617 cattle-related cases were filed,” Assam CM informed the state assembly.

Hoque said that the markets in Dhubri district located two kilometres away from the international border are closed by the BSF personnel daily at 5 pm and the MLA wanted to know if there were any such instructions.

Sarma stated, “The BSF has to be strict in the area. It is a hot zone of crime. I am not aware of the BSF’s views on the matters raised by you,”.

He stated that India has made significant strides in the last few decades in terms of economic growth, social development, and technological advancements. The country has the potential to become a global leader in various sectors such as technology, healthcare, education, and agriculture. However, to achieve the status of a developed nation, India must address some critical challenges such as poverty, inequality, infrastructure, Agriculture, and climate change.

Dr. Amit Joshi Director, KCCI highlighted the Ek Koshish initiative where the local players will be benefited. Through “EK KOSHISH“which aims to identify the rare disappearing “Makeshifters“ referred to as “Jugads“ specifically in rural areas and then make them streamline after registering and patenting in a duration set duration of 18 months which will end in early 2024.

The first few suggestions from the vision plan involve freeing India’s defense acquisitions from foreign reliance and creating a road map for ‘India’s space in the world in 2047’. To help build this future-ready India, the vision plan suggests re-engineering government processes to bring institutional expertise to the government sector and eliminating unnecessary interference by the government in citizens’ lives.

The Government’s vision for India is ambitious, but it is also achievable. With the right policies, initiatives, and investments, India can become a developed nation and realize its full potential. The government is committed to making this vision a reality, and it is calling upon all stakeholders, including citizens, businesses, and civil society, to work together toward this goal.

The various panel session highlighted the vision and requirements to become a developed nation by 2047.
