Surat (Gujarat) [India], March 24: On Monday, 6th March 2023, India’s leading diamond baron Shri Govind Dholakia was felicitated in a function at The Cholmondeley Room of the UK Parliament. The function was organized in the presence of Lords, Members of parliament, academia, businessmen and the elite of London. Lord Raj Loomba hosted the event, which was chaired by Lord Bhikhu Parekh.

They appreciated Shri Govind Dholakia’s efforts to strengthen the relations between India and the UK.

Shri Govind Dholakia is a well-known personality in the diamond industry and has been instrumental in developing the diamond industry in India. He is the Founder and Chairman of Shree Ramkrishna Exports, one of the globally renowned diamond crafting and exports companies. He has been recognized for his contribution to the diamond industry. He has received several awards, some of the recent ones being the “GJEPC Lifetime Achievement Award” and the “India’s Top 100 Most Powerful Business Leaders” award.

The felicitation event was a significant achievement for Shri Govind Dholakia and a moment of pride for India. It showcased the strong relations between India and the UK and highlighted the contribution of the Indian diaspora in the UK. Shri Amish Tripathi, Hon. The round also witnessed participation from an array of esteemed angel investors like Apurva Arora, Jayesh Gulabani and Rajeev Mehta. The company has raised $300000 till now through various investors.

This investment round’s proceeds will primarily be used for the expansion of the company’s operations in Ahmedabad. A part of the freshly raised investment will also be directed towards development of a full stack tech platform which would help them to scale in multiple locations, said Pragya Mittal, co-founder and CMO, Evify.

“This is a great end to fiscal year for the company. We have been working on adding technological advancements into our delivery operations through the use of telematics device to create a tech enabled fleet management system which will revolutionize the unorganized logistics market,” said Devrishi Arora, co-founder and CEO, EVIFY.

EVIFY plans to have a fleet of 2000 vehicles deployed successfully in Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Rajkot by the end of 2024.

Evify is the largest EV fleet service provider in Gujarat and also India’s 1st carbon negative EV fleet owner. The company also plans to generate carbon credits in the near future.

Evify solely uses electric vehicles (EVs) for deliveries. Their aim is to decarbonize last mile deliveries in all the major Tier II cities of India. With this aim, they have been operational in Surat for more than a year now servicing e-commerce behemoths like Swiggy, Zomato, Bluedart, Big Basket, Flipkart and Ecom- Express. Up till Feb 2023, the platform has tracked over 300,000 green deliveries and over 16,66,000 green kilometers.

The company has recently started its operations in Ahmedabad with Big basket and Flipkart. All other clients are in the pipeline with whom the deployment is planned in the coming months.

New Delhi (India), March 24: Ujjawal Trivedi is a multifaceted person who has gone from being a nobody to being India’s most prominent Bollywood journalist. Not just journalism—he gained 20 years of experience in TV, radio, and digital media. Now in the lead with millions of subscribers and views on his own YouTube channels and Facebook pages. With the night shift job at a local cable channel and a much lower salary, he invested his mornings in writing stories and articles for filmy magazines—a description of his struggling days as a young adult. By the end of the year 2022, luck was finally on his side, and he signed on with Zee News to contribute to the newscast for daily stories, post-production of daily news, and anchoring.

A tragic event occurred the next year when Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan, the father of Amitabh Bachchan, passed away. He performed his first live broadcast at Zee News, where he received lots of love and appreciation from everyone. Afterwards, he conducted interviews with a variety of well-known figures for news outlets like NDTV and CNBC. Moreover, he got the chance to work with E24, India’s first and leading Bollywood news channel, chit-chat with Bollywood stars, and even host Saas Bahu Saazish, India’s first TV industry show, for STAR News.

He began working with Zoom as a senior producer, continuing his list of accomplishments and compelling story. Launched their own YouTube channel, Telly Talk, hosted by leading female actress Mouni Roy. With a good knowledge of viewers’ preferences and creative abilities, he gained Telly Talk with over 970 million views and 16.8 lakh subscribers. Guwahati: A total of 90 G-20 delegates from different countries arrived in Dibrugarh on Thursday by flight. The delegates were given warm welcome at Mohanbari Airport, Dibrugarh by traditional phulam gamucha and dances by cultural troops.

Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu, superintendent of police Shwetank Mishra and other officials of Dibrugarh district administration were present at the Airport for welcoming the G-20 guests.

The delegates visited three tea gardens namy Manohari tea estate, Ethelelwold tea estate and Mancotta tea estate. On Friday, the 103 delegates will participate in the G20 summit to be held at Manohari tea estate Banquet hall in Dibrugarh.

There are 20 members in the group: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union.

Guwahati: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday informed that the newly-constructed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Guwahati in Assam will be inagurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14.

Sarma on Thursday visited the newly-constructed AIIMS to took stock of the institute.

During his visit to the site of AIIMS-Guwahati, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma reviewed the preparations for the inauguration of the institute.

Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta also accompanied CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to the AIIMS-Guwahati site.

Speaking to the reporters, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Reviewed status of its (AIIMS-Guwahati) various infrastructure facilities including OPD, auditorium, waste disposal and connecting roads,’’.

“The AIIMS-Guwahati will give a huge boost to healthcare in Northeast. The construction of the hospital is at full swing and 18 departments are now almost functional, including the OPD,” Sarma added.

Sarma added at present 90 per cent of the work at the site is completed.
