Khoob Khao Vazan Ghatao, UnLOAD by Asha Ashta announces 17th Edition of the 90 Days Weight Loss Challenge

Participants are losing up to 45 kg by eating Aloo Paratha, Rice-Daal, Rajma, Chhole, Pasta, Pizza, Noodles, Egg, Fish, Chicken, Mango, Banana, Lichee and more.

New Delhi (India), April 3: UnLOAD, the Women’s Weight Loss Competition, is a phenomenon with a human touch. The Challenge runs live, with constant monitoring and mentoring, utilising an appropriate blend of everyday technologies, like WhatsApp and Zoom. Guru Asha Ashta has introduced the 17th edition of her Super Premium Weight Loss Challenge, e17UnLOAD, with a complete focus on normal regular meals. 14 of these Challenges have already been accomplished, and the 15th and 16th are now in process.

“The calorie concept of food and weight loss is merely a hypothetical idea that has been accountable for numerous diseases of women,” stated Guru Asha Ashta, the UnLOAD Innovator, while making the announcement. “The Major Pillars of Excellent Health are Just Regular Normal Meals That Follow Nature’s Laws.” Weight Loss is just a wonderful consequence of this disciplined regimen. The secret to losing weight is to eat until your stomach is full. Every form of starvation causes the weight to rise. UnLOAD is largely concerned with three main issues: when to eat, what to eat, and how to eat. Weight Loss occurs when you take a proper meal at the Correct Time and in Correct Combination. UnLOAD has established and confirmed over time that just the Meal contributes 100% to Weight Loss. Every type of exercise, in whatever form, has no bearing on weight loss. Exercise does, however, play its part in toning and sculpting the body, but it has no role in Weight Loss,” Asha said.

This Gamified Challenge, which is a Cash Prize Challenge, will begin on May 1, 2023. Enrollment is now available through April 20th, 2023. The Challenge includes Meal Plans for each day that are discussed in a series of live Zoom Webinars. There is a Workout Program that includes 3 live exercise sessions 5 days a week and includes Bikini Body Training, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Pilates, Kickboxing, Tabata, Zumba, Aerobics, Bollywood Dance, Masala Bhangra, and many other interesting physical activities.

Every day, each participant is observed, monitored, supervised, and counselled as required.

UnLOAD was founded in 2011 in Mumbai by Asha Astha Yoga, and it has now grown to include participants from more than 50 nations. UnLOAD is now a registered trademark and ISO 9001:0215 certified by IAS in the United States.

“There are no herbals, chemicals, pills, capsules, injections, powders, smoothies, or anything else in UnLOAD,” Asha stated. I don’t believe in calorie counting or portion management. I never use the term “carbohydrate.” My “Eat More, Not Less” Meal Plans include Aloo Paratha, Rice-Daal, Pasta, Pizza, Hakka-Noodles, Aloo Tikki, Paav-Bhaji, Idli-Dosa, Momo, and many more delicious dishes. These are now established superfoods for weight loss after 14 editions of very successful 90-Day Weight Loss Challenges. With these regular typical meals, the individuals have lost up to 20.5 kg and lost up to 12″ off their waistline.”

“Millions of individuals throughout the world suffer from bad health, mostly owing to a lack of basic meal-related knowledge,” Asha Ashta stated. “The UnLOAD routine teaches women to love food and, as a result, to recover from lifestyle diseases such as thyroid, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, migraine, insomnia, and so on, as well as depression. Some people were entirely healed of these so-called “incurable” disorders. This program has profoundly changed not just their individual lives but also the lives of all their family members.”

“I’m giving the participants a never-before-seen practical experience to help them lose weight in an enjoyable way.” Apart from their overall change, there are many monetary rewards of up to ₹150,000.00. The winner of e17UnLoad will get ₹60,000.00. The first and second runners-up will get ₹ 30,000/ and ₹ 20,000/, respectively.” Asha mentioned. Each participant is evaluated based on a set of quantifiable objective metrics and a set of unambiguous eligibility and evaluation parameters, which are outlined on her website, https://www.ashaashta.com/.

World Health Day: Top 8 Doctors’ Advice on Early Detection & Treatment for Healthier Life

New Delhi (India), April 7: The importance of early detection and treatment cannot be overstated when it comes to maintaining good health. Early detection is particularly crucial for serious illnesses like arthritis, cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. By taking proactive measures, you can increase your chances of successful treatment and improve your overall health and well-being.On this World Health Day, we asked several doctors to share their advice on how to stay healthy in the modern era. Don’t wait until it’s too late, prioritize your health today.

Dr. SantoshShettyMBBS, MS (Ortho), MCh (Ortho), Robotic Joint Replacement, Criti Care Asia Group of Hospitals, Director & HOD of Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement – Surana Group of Hospitals, Mumbai

Maintaining good health is essential for living a happy and fulfilling life, and early detection and early treatment are crucial for achieving this goal. One area where this is particularly important is in the case of joint pain and arthritis.
Early detection of joint pain and arthritis is critical to prevent the condition from progressing and causing further damage to the joints, which will eventually lead to surgery. Symptoms of joint pain and arthritis may include pain, stiffness, and swelling in the affected joint. Treatment for joint pain and arthritis may involve medication, physical therapy, or lifestyle modifications. Early treatment can help to manage symptoms, improve joint function, and reduce the risk of long-term complications.
Regular check-ups with a healthcare provider, such as an orthopaedic surgeon, can help identify joint pain and arthritis early on. It’s important to discuss any concerns about joint pain or stiffness with your healthcare provider, as early detection and treatment can greatly improve outcomes.

Dr. Shweta KaulJha, MS FNB Reproductive Medicine, Director – Niramay, Care Women’s Centre, Indore

The WHO defines infertility as the failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months of unprotected sexual intercourse. Globally, about 17.5% of adults suffer from infertility, with one in six experiencing it at least once in their lifetime. India’s fertility rate is at an all-time low of two children per woman, and even beyond fertility, maternal mortality remains a leading cause of death after conception. India’s maternal mortality ratio (MMR) has improved to 103 per 100,000 live births in 2017–19, yet the UN SDGs set the rate at less than 70 per 100,000 live births. Infertility is often viewed as a taboo in India, with many people hesitant to seek treatment or discuss their experiences. Educating people about infertility and its treatments can help them make informed decisions about family planning.

Dr. Priyanka Kesharwani, MS, DNB, Fertility Specialist, Mumbai

As a gynecologist, I believe that early detection and early treatment are key when it comes to living a healthy life. I would like to share my insights on this topic and provide advice to women who want to take better care of their health. Screening tests are designed to detect certain conditions in their early stages before any symptoms appear. These tests, like pap smears, mammograms, and blood tests, are for certain conditions like diabetes and high cholesterol. Early detection and treatment of these conditions can prevent complications such as heart disease and kidney damage.

Self-Examinations It is important to know your body and perform regular self-examinations. Lifestyle changes for preventive care like eating a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and getting routine health screenings for BP, cholesterol, blood sugar, and cancer all count.

Dr. LalDaga, MBBS, DNB (Med.), DNB (Card) MNAMS, FESC (International), FEAC, Advanced Cardiology Training Program (Seoul), Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist – Apollo Hospital, Director – Dr. Lal Heart Centre, Ahmedabad

The most common cause of death worldwide is a cardiac disease; that’s why it is very important todetect it early; prevention is always better than cure. In South Asian countries, heart disease occurs one decade before its Western counterpart, so it’s important.

Early detection must be achieved by a cardiac check-up involving cardiac consultation with patient-tailored investigations like ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, and a few CT coronary angiography or conventional angiography with laboratory tests. Patients with a family history of heart disease can be helped by genetic studies along with lipid profiles (LPA, Hs CRP, homocysteine levels). Patients with acute or intermittent symptoms can be diagnosed with cardiac evaluations by ECG and biochemical cardiac marker 2D echo on an OPD or IPD basis. Early treatment ranges from prevention and control of comorbid diseases like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and dyslipidemia, as well as stopping smoking and reducing stress. The final treatment can be angioplasty, pacemaker, or CABG in some cases. But all persons, with or without heart disease, should be aware of prevention and early treatment of heart diseases to benefit the community at large.

Dr. Almas Fatma, MBBS, Diploma Family Medicine (RCGP,UK & AHERF), Telehealth PG course in Digital Health -IIM Raipur, Consultant – Alcura Family Clinic & CAARE.IN, Navi Mumbai

Routine health screenings are an important part of a person’s healthcare journey. With proper health screening and interventions, we can save more lives and curb the rising number of various chronic ailments such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases, autoimmune disorders, genetic disorders, behavioral disorders, etc. Early detection is always the first step towards a cure.

There are many conditions for which the earlier the diagnosis, the better. That’s because we have effective treatments that work best during the early stages of the illness. For example, breast and colon cancer can be cured if caught early enough. That’s why screening tests include mammography and colonoscopy. Detecting symptomatic patients as early as possible so that they have the best chance for successful treatment. Special examinations exist for many chronic diseases that can diagnose the disease while it is asymptomatic. The earlier detection of disease may lead to more cures or longer survival. THE BEST PROTECTION IS EARLY DETECTION!

Dr. KunalBahrani ,MBBS, MD, DM (AIIMS), FEBN, MRCP (UK) Director & Head NeurologyFORTIS Escorts Hospital, Faridabad

World Health Day is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the significance of good health and well-being. This year’s theme, “Building a fairer, healthier world,” emphasizes the need for equitable access to healthcare services for all, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
There are a few essential tips to maintaining good health: adequate sleep and good rest. Sleep deprivation can have a significant impact on mental and physical health. Engage in regular physical activity, such as brisk walking or cycling, for at least thirty minutes a day. This not only helps to maintain a healthy weight but also reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. Follow a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein sources.

Dr. Mamata Rani RoutENT Clinic, Ghaziabad (visiting consultant at Manipal Hospitals), MBBS, P.G. Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (D.L.O.), ENT Surgeon, Ghaziabad

Oral cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the mouth and throat. It can present with symptoms such as persistent mouth sores, difficulty swallowing, and changes in speech. Risk factors include tobacco and alcohol use, poor oral hygiene, and HPV infection. Early detection through regular screenings is crucial for successful treatment. Prevention includes avoiding tobacco and alcohol, practising good oral hygiene, and getting vaccinated against HPV. Seeking medical attention for concerning symptoms is important for early detection and treatment. Stay informed, be proactive, and take action against oral cancer for better oral health. Your mouth and body will thank you!

Sandesh Deshmukh is a household figure in India thanks to his work motivating tens of thousands of people to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Deshmukh is a native of Pune and practises a minimalist lifestyle. Bodybuilding and fitness have always been areas of interest for Sandesh. A bodybuilding gym. Sandesh, who came from a middle-class background, put in long hours and hardly any money to accomplish his ambitions.

India’s Top 10 Doctors’ Advice: Early Detection and Treatment for Healthier Life

New Delhi (India), April 7: In a world where our schedules are packed with endless responsibilities and commitments, it’s easy to overlook our own health. We often put our health on the back burner until a serious health issue arises. However, the importance of early detection and treatment for maintaining good health cannot be stressed enough.

Early detection and treatment can help manage serious illnesses such as cancer, arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes and increase the chances of successful treatment. This World Health Day, several doctors share their expert advice on how to prioritize your health in the modern era. Join us in taking a proactive approach towards good health, starting today.

Dr.  ManojBansal, MBBS, MD, DM Cardiology (Gold Medalist), FCSI, Lead Cardiologist, KokilabenDhirubhaiAmbani Hospital, Indore & Secretary, Cardiological Society of India, Indore Chapter

Health, as defined by the WHO, is not just the absence of disease but also encompasses complete physical, mental, and social well-being. As we mark the 75th anniversary of the WHO, the theme for this year’s World Health Day is “Health for All.” Promoting health and preventing diseases is a shared responsibility.

As a cardiologist, I witness only a small portion of the affected population, and a significant number of patients are unaware of their lifestyle disease status. Heart diseases are hitting our country hard, with the young and productive age group seeing a high number of heart attacks.

My message to fellow countrymen on World Health Day is to adopt a healthy lifestyle with exercise, yoga, and a nutritious diet. Regular preventive health checks and controlling blood pressure, sugar, and cholesterol levels are crucial. Individuals with a family history of heart disease should be especially cautious.

Dr.SajidShaikh, MDS, Consultant and Lecturer, Ex-Observer – Tata Memorial Hospital, Smile 4U Family Dental Clinic, Mumbai

As a dentist, I cannot stress the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene for overall health enough. On this World Health Day, I urge everyone to make oral health a priority. Neglecting oral hygiene can lead to serious health consequences such as gum disease, tooth decay, and even heart disease. Brush your teeth at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and floss daily to remove plaque and food particles that can cause decay.

Additionally, limit sugary and acidic foods and drinks that can erode tooth enamel. Regular dental checkups and cleanings are also crucial in preventing and addressing oral health issues. Don’t delay seeking dental care if you experience any dental problems. Remember, a healthy smile is a key part of overall health and well-being. Early detection of any disease greatly increases the chances of successful treatment and survival rate.

Dr. S. S. Murthy, MBBS, DNB, MNAMS, Director & HOD – Ayushman Hospital, New Delhi

Early detection and treatment of cardiovascular disease (CVD) are crucial for a healthier life, as CVD remains the leading cause of morbidity and mortality. By being aware of the early signs of CVD and leading a heart-healthy lifestyle, most cases can be prevented. Screening tests to identify early vascular and cardiac abnormalities are effective in individuals without symptoms and clear-cut risk factors for CVD. Early identification of CVD risk factors and non-invasive testing for early disease onset is important for heart disease prevention.

Implementing early detection and treatment of CVDs offers benefits for clinicians, such as identifying ischemia more easily and reducing appointment wait times for patients with urgent medical needs. Additionally, early detection leads to decreased morbidity and mortality, fewer complications, and long-term survival for patients.

It is important for the public to prioritize heart health, make necessary lifestyle changes, and work with physicians to prevent CVD. By doing so, individuals can improve their quality of life and avoid preventable health issues.

Dr. NehaBhandari, M.B.B.S, DNB Pediatrics, GRIPMER fellow, Sir Ganga Ram hospital, IPNA fellow (NUH, Singapore), Sr. consultant, Ped Nephrology, Aakash Health Care Super Speciality Hospital, and Kompal Child & Kidney Clinic, Delhi

Early detection and early treatment can help you live a healthy life. Many kidney problems can be diagnosed before a baby is born through routine prenatal testing and treated with medication or surgery while the child is still young.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) prevention and early treatment are possible by managing risk factors like obesity, hypertension, hydronephrosis, recurrent urine infections, protein in the urine, diabetes, and congenital kidney and bladder abnormalities. Get your blood and urine tested for an early diagnosis. For treatment most important is weight loss, a low salt diet, avoiding junk, getting active, control high BP and diabetes.

Dr. Upendra D Bhalerao, MS, MCh, DNB, FIACS, Consultant Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeon and Transplant Surgeon, Jaslok Hospital Research Center, Mumbai

Heart disease is on the rise and is among the most expensive diseases in society. Early detection of heart disease and heart failure is crucial to test lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions that can slow disease progression and improve patient outcomes. Lifestyle factors such as smoking, unhealthy diet, diabetes, high cholesterol level, high blood pressure, and lack of exercise increase the risk of heart disease.

If you experience chest pain, heaviness, uneasiness, excessive fatigue, or shortness of breath, see a cardiologist. Tests such as ECG, exercise stress test, and echocardiography assess heart function and can detect ischemic signs. Regular health checkups for diabetes, hypertension, and increased cholesterol with ECG, echo, and stress tests are advisable for everyone over 45. Those under 45 with high-risk factors should have yearly checkups. Detecting abnormalities early and getting necessary treatment can prevent serious heart disease and cardiovascular morbidity.

Dr. Sonik ShahM.S (Ortho, Mumbai), FIMIAS, FIAS (GERMANY), Diploma in Sports Medicine (International Olympic Committee Certified, Swiss), All India Superspeciality Hospital, Mumbai

Overuse injuries are prevalent among immature and recreational athletes and early detection and treatment are vital for a safe return to play. Prompt recognition and treatment of common overuse injuries such as stress fractures, knee and shoulder pain, and “Little League Elbow” can lead to quicker recovery and prevent long-term effects.

Current research highlights that recreational athletes are more susceptible to these injuries due to their untrained musculoskeletal system. Growing regions in the growth plates make adolescents more prone to injuries from sports such as gymnastics, running, and baseball. However, not all overuse injuries are related to growth plates and can cause long-term problems if neglected. Athletes should work with trainers and specialists to create a safe rehabilitation program to return to play once healing is complete. Contact for knee, shoulder, and hip-related injuries.

Dr. Varun Aggarwal, MBBS, Ms- Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement Surgeon, Golden Clinics, Chandigarh

On this World Health Day, it is important to highlight the significance of Keyhole spine surgery. This minimally invasive surgical technique has revolutionized the field of orthopedic surgery by offering patients a safer, less painful, and faster recovery option compared to traditional open surgery. Keyhole surgery involves making small incisions, less than one inch in length, and using specialized instruments to access the spine without damaging surrounding muscles and tissues.

This leads to a reduced risk of complications and postoperative pain and enables patients to return to their normal activities in a shorter amount of time. I would recommend considering Keyhole spine surgery as a treatment option for those who suffer from spinal conditions. It is a safe and effective procedure that can greatly improve patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Rachana S Shah, DNB (Opthal)Fellowship InVitero Retinal Disease & Surgeries, All India Superspeciality Hospital, Mumbai

Urbanization, industrialization, and changing lifestyles have increased diabetes prevalence and its associated complications like neuropathy, nephropathy, and vascular diseases. Diabetic retinopathy is a significant cause of avoidable blindness in India. Early treatment interventions can reduce the burden of blindness. Good glucose control can slow down diabetic complications. Smoking, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia can worsen the condition.

Any vision changes or pain must be reported immediately. Regular follow-up care with an ophthalmologist, even when asymptomatic, is crucial. Early treatment with injections or lasers can reduce progression. Diabetic retinopathy is best diagnosed with a comprehensive dilated eye exam. Educating patients about these factors can help manage diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Saurabh Bansal, Gastrointestinal Laparoscopic Cancer and Robotic Surgeon, The Clinics by Surgeons House, Delhi

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is crucial, especially amid chaos. As a doctor, I always advise my patients to prioritize gut health. On World Health Day, I emphasize the importance of a healthy gut. Undue stress, bad eating habits, and low water and fibre intake are common reasons for gut disorders like gastritis, infection, and reflux. Smoking and alcohol worsen the situation.

Symptoms like a full abdomen, chronic reflux, vomiting, altered bowel habits, a lump in the abdomen, weight loss, fatigue, and jaundice could indicate gastrointestinal cancer. Healthy eating habits, maintaining a healthy weight, limiting alcohol and quitting smoking can help. Regular checkups and addressing gut symptoms that persist for more than 3–4 weeks are essential. Remember, good tummy health is essential for a healthy life!

Dr. Sameer Arbat, MBBS, MD Pulmonology, PDDM (Mumbai), FCCP (USA), Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology (Italy), Interventional Pulmonologist – One Healthcare, Nagpur

World Health Day is observed on April 7th every year to raise global health awareness and mark the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948. The day emphasizes the significance of healthy living and ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services. It encourages people to be mindful of their health, improve their lifestyle and make necessary changes. WHO’s goal is to ensure Health for All, where everyone has access to necessary health services without any financial burden. Unfortunately, almost 30% of the global population lacks access to basic healthcare, and around two billion people face catastrophic healthcare costs.

Universal Health Coverage (UHC) can lift people out of poverty, promote community well-being and safeguard against public health emergencies. To achieve Health for All, we need access to quality healthcare, skilled health workers, and policymakers committed to investing in UHC.

Dr. Hetal Tamakuwala, a Surat dentist and mother of two, won the Ironman Triathlon in Malaysia

Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 7: When Dr. Hetal Tamakuwala is not providing dental care, she is likely to devote her time to physical activities such as cycling, running, or swimming, possibly in preparation for an upcoming competition. Dr. Hetal, a dental professional who runs the ‘Dr. Hetal’s Advanced Dentistree’ clinic in Surat’s Pal-Adajan, has long participated in triathlons. She completed the gruelling Full Ironman triathlon in Malaysia and finished 10th overall, bringing Surat, Gujarat, and the country to international prominence. Dr. Hetal has become the country’s first female dentist, India’s ninth female athlete, and Gujarat’s second to complete the Iron Man Triathlon.

Dr. Hetal’s year-long commitment to intensifying her training regimen culminated in the arduous triathlon, which included a 3.8 km swim in the sea, 180 km cycling, and a full 42 km marathon run. The Iron Man tasks were supposed to be completed in 17 hours, but Dr. Hetal completed them in 15 hours and 40 minutes, placing her 10th in the world.

Surat, known throughout the world as a diamond and textile city, is now making its mark in the field of sports as well.  Many sports personalities from the city have made Surat, Gujarat, and the country’s names shine at the international level through their energetic performances.

Hetal Tamakuwala said she never imagined 10 years ago that she would one day complete the gruelling Full Iron Man Triathlon. “I won a silver medal in a two-kilometer race in Surat ten years ago.” This success sowed the seeds of my desire to become an athlete in me.  Since then, I’ve been putting in long hours of practise in order to become a medical athlete.  I used the “Rule of 7″ for this, which means 7 hours of clinical practice, 7 hours of competition training, and 7 hours of sleep in a day.”

Dr.Hetal took up swimming practise in the Tapi river and Causeway, as well as the Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA) swimming pool at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Piplod, because the Full Iron Man Triathlon requires swimming in the sea. She chose to ride from Surat to Saputara and Surat to Dang for cycling practice, as well as some routes in Surat city.  Winning the Iron Man title and accomplishing all of this would not have been possible without the family’s support and the coach’s guidance.

“From the beginning, I have had the moral support of my husband, Dr. Deepak Tamakuwala, and sons, Dr. Dhruv and Devansh; swimming coach Jignesh Sarang Sir and cycling coach Tarak Shah Sir gave me valuable advice. A special thanks to Vishal Cycle Agency for providing with all the gears & equipments whenever required. This achievement was a result of culminative support from my family & coaches.” says Dr. Hetal Tamakuwala

Dr.Hetal is the first female athlete from Surat to have completed five events, in addition to successfully completing the Full Iron Man Triathlon in Malaysia.  She finished the Full Iron Man Triathlon in Malaysia on November 5, 2022; and the Half Iron Man Triathlon in Kolhapur on October 2, 2022, earning another prize.  She then finished second in the Half Iron Man Triathlon in Goa on November 13, 2022.  She then competed in the Guru Shikhar Challenge on January 1, 2023, cycling uphill 183 kilometres from Mehsana to Mount Abu to Guru Shikhar and finishing first. On February 25, 2023, she won the Full Iron Man Triathlon at Konark being solo female finisher.

Dr. Hetal is unstoppable, even after suffering five fractures.

Any athlete must put in a lot of practise time.  Dr. Hetal Tamakuwala understood this so well that she had accidents five times during practise and fractured her bones at various times, but after recovering, she continued to practise and, without losing courage, she continued to move forward to achieve her goal.
