International Women’s Day 2023: Women-in-Health Leading the Industry & Transforming Healthcare

New Delhi (India), March 9: On March 8, International Women’s Day, we bring forward strong opinions about women showing great courage by making their mark in the health industry. These powerful women have a steadfast desire to go beyond their comfort zones and make a difference. The views of female doctors and coaches from various fields who are directing people toward a healthy lifestyle are listed below. Building a healthy lifestyle should, as they say, be a constant process rather than an isolated event.

Ms. Pooja Anand Sharma, MA, Ph.D., Chairperson- Vishwas Healing Centre, Expertise in Psychotherapy, Dream analysis & Energy Healing training, New Delhi

If we promote the values of true Sensitivity in both genders, we will no longer need to voice for women’s empowerment or complaint about inequality.

Sensitivity is the new voice that global citizens need. Indeed, this perspective will lead to equality in society. Let’s create newer approaches for nurturing equality & for building a new world. This further can be achieved through spiritual parenting and awareness.

Dr. Mythily S. Boreddy, MBBS, DCH, Fellowship in Neonatology (IAP, Surya Hospital), Worked in hospitals- Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani & Surya Hospital, Mumbai

Happy Women’s Day! Behind every successful woman is a woman. I had the support of my mother when building my career before marriage and my mother-in-law after my marriage.

It’s been a rollercoaster ride balancing personal and professional life with two young daughters.  You just need to come out of your comfort zone and think broadly. Life gives you plenty of opportunities. If we are happy and satisfied with the present, we will never grow. My message for future generations is to spread your wings and fly high. Sky is your limit… Being a pediatrician, I see a lot of ambitious parents. My message is to raise the emotional quotient in your children and enable them to face turbulence in life.

Ms. Deepa Nandy, Nutriguide, Post Graduation Diploma in Sports Science and Nutrition, Consulting Nutritionist, Mumbai

Being a nutritionist for more than 14 years, I would like to convey a few tips to younger females who want to achieve greater heights in life. Gender cannot hold you back from achieving your goals; therefore, believe in yourself and your abilities. Build a strong foundation of knowledge and skills by investing time in studying, training, and skill-building opportunities.

Developing strong communication skills will help you convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to others. Seek mentors help and peers who can support and guide you through your professional journey. As a woman, don’t be afraid to speak up, advocate for yourself, and make your voice heard.

Finally, remember that learning and improving is a lifelong process. Never look out for shortcuts. And ultimately, life is the biggest teacher!

Dr. Ramasamy Shoba, MBBS, DGO, DNB(O&G), MNAMS, M.Med (Family Medicine), Chennai

An astute professional with 22 years of obstetrics and gynecology experience who practices HIV medicine, delivers babies and cares for HIV-positive patients. Worked as an HIV consultant for WHO, NACO, and TNSACS, and she has delivered over 1500 HIV-positive pregnant mothers and given them infection-free babies.

Message to young doctors, our first advice is to practice ethically. Tell them and make them feel that you care for them more than anything else. Treat all of them with due respect and compassion. PRACTISE UNIVERSAL PRECAUTION. Do not discriminate against the infected ones. Maintain care and confidentiality. Show them empathy and support them. A doctor’s counseling can do more wonders for the patient’s life than offering advice. Finally, being a good family requires constant patient follow-up.

Dr. Kiran Makhijani, Psychologist & psychotherapist – Dr. Y A Matcheswalla’s Superspeciality Polyclinic, Mumbai

The current level of burnout is often attributed to the new difficulties brought on by the need to connect digitally and the isolation of working from home. However, it could be that the pandemic simply making everyone constantly engaged and stressed out. Learn how to subtract, at least. We rarely receive praise for doing fewer things, but what if that could be reframed to emphasize the importance of doing fewer things? After considering one meaningful outcome you could hope for if you practiced subtracting, close your eyes and take a deep breath. The first step is the most crucial. Try to carry out something this week. Set a routine for it. It may come as a surprise to you to learn that even the tiniest adjustments can have a significant impact.

Dr. Jyoti C. Bhasin, BDS, PGC Endo & Aesthetics (USA), Associate Fellow AAID (USA), FICD (USA), Microendodontist, Implantologist, Tooth & Gum Dental Clinic, Agra

“I never dreamed about success, I worked for it!”

Women, in essence, in our country are still uneducated, underestimated, and never understood. I am a clinician with 23 years of experience in dentistry. I have worked alone in an industry where only men were seen, and that too successfully. I support an underprivileged girl child’s education so that she can someday support herself and her young, widowed mother. I try to be a better example to my daughter so that when the time comes, she can be independent financially and do as she desires. My mother had to fight to ensure I got a professional education, and she did it for me. Today, I am grateful to her for making me who I am and evolving my thought process. To all the women out there, let’s change the world.

Ms. Neelam Mishra, MA, PGDRP, Ph.D., Associated Consultant Psychologist – Ganga Ram Hospital, CBT & REBT Practitioner And Founder of The Mind Healing, New Delhi

The problem of adjustment issues in women is largely unknown. Despite accounting for a sizable proportion of the global population, women are frequently overlooked when it comes to researching the psychological effects of adjustment issues. According to recent research, women are more likely than men to experience adjustment issues, with women being more prone to anxiety, depression, and other disorders. With this in mind, it is critical that workplace and family entities recognise this issue and provide their female employees/family members with the necessary support and resources to ensure that they can cope with the effects of adjustment issues. These individuals can learn to manage their symptoms, improve their well-being, and find a healthier way to manage their emotions with the right guidance.

Dr Lakshmi Darlanka, Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist, Vstar Super Speciality Hospitals, Rajamahendravaram.

In our country, the quality of healthcare penetration in Tier 2 and 3 cities has long been a major problem. People from underserved areas have always fled to larger cities because of a lack of tertiary treatment. Being a successful gynaecologist, I have seen the majority of women taking care of their family member’s health as a priority than self-health and landing in complications.  At Vstar Super Speciality Hospital we brought world-class medical facilities and have done difficult and complex cases such as laparoscopic vaginoplasty successfully at affordable prices. Empowerment of women through awareness drives is another key aspect that serves crucial to childbearing mothers, especially in tier 2 and rural India.

How Telehealth is going to Revolutionize Medical Tourism in India in 2023

Telemedicine – Online Video Consultation with Doctors

New Delhi (India), March 9: India is leading in Health care with its world-class hospital infrastructure, highly advanced Medical technology, Expert skills, Compliance with international quality standards, and reduced cost compared to many countries. With USD 5-6 billion size of Medical value travel (MVT) and 500000 International patients annually, India is among the global leader destinations for international patients seeking advanced treatment.

To boost Indian Health care globally and to make MVT size 13 Billion by 2026, Union Govt has launched Heal In India campaign, which aims to promote India’s medical facilities and infrastructure Globally with plans to standardize processes and treatment packages for foreign nationals.

To promote Medical Value Travel in India, Telehealth can make a paradigm shift in India’s healthcare industry. Telehealth has changed the traditional way of patient consulting Doctors. Patients with no geographic boundaries can engage with healthcare professionals making it an efficient way to access healthcare.

During the pandemic, in April 2020, telehealth consultations grew from less than 1 percent of primary care visits to a remarkable 43.5 percent. The current trajectory of virtual care has created a new model of medical care after the crisis. It has helped reduce the number of incidents of hospital-acquired infections by up to 80%, making it the safest mode of patient care.

Dr.Harinder Singh Sidhu, Sr.VP of Corporate Development, Apollo Group, mentioned, “Being one of the global pioneers of telemedicine, Apollo serves both National and International patients by enhancing the accessibility of quality healthcare. Many international patients benefited from Telehealth in managing disease when international flights were restricted during Covid times. Further, Apollo TeleHealth specializes in integrated healthcare delivery to provide services such as TeleConsultations, TeleRadiology, Tele Cardiology, Tele Condition Management, and Tele-ICU services, among others.”

Telehealth Is the remote delivery of healthcare and health-related information services through electronic methods such as video calls, email, chat, or other electronic means. The Patient and Doctor Team can communicate face-to-face in real-time through Video calls with prior bookings.

Patients sitting in their Homes and miles away from doctors and Hospitals can benefit from this Digital Healthcare model. It can ensure the swift delivery of quality healthcare while reducing unnecessary health risks and eliminating traditional barriers to care.

With the help of advancements in medical technology, the length of hospital stays for patients is becoming increasingly shorter to reduce healthcare costs. For example, hospital stays for coronary artery bypass grafts averaged nine days 13-14 years ago, whereas the average stay in 2023 is five days. During prolonged postoperative periods, Telemonitoring could be significant in monitoring patients. Doctor team can manage the Vital signs of a patient’s condition with the help of Telemonitoring, which can monitor the patient’s condition post-discharge from the hospital, altering the medicine as per the patient’s vitals in aftercare, which further makes it possible an efficient system in healthcare model.

TeleHealth reduces the burden on Healthcare Resources and Workforce. Doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals benefit significantly from telehealth services. Today, telemedicine helps doctors and Healthcare professionals provide consultations and diagnostic services across geographies, broadening their reach globally.

According to Dr. Rahul Bhargava, Director of Bone marrow transplant FMRI,” There is a significant gap in the world which exists for optimal health care delivery leading to disparity in the outcome and robbing many from the basic tenet of a right of living. This gap ideally will not exist if health education and resources are uniform. Still, life is less than ideal, so bridging the gap is possible through telemedicine and telepathology.”

The telemedicine division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare tied up with CDAC (the Center for the Development of Advanced Computing) to launch the eSanjeevani OPD portal. The national telemedicine service was an instant hit in India, serving over 100 million patients. With over 200,000 providers, 15,000 hubs, and 115,000 operational spokes, this is the world’s most comprehensive implementation of a public telemedicine system.

‍Issues of privacy and protection of client health information may lessen the growth of Telehealth. Not only must personal records be protected, but they should also be safe from abuse or misuse of the electronic transmission of personal health information through effective privacy legislation and meticulous monitoring.

In Medical value travel, Patients travel great distances for efficient, high-quality medical care. Thus, the application of Telehealth in the medical tourism industry promises to bridge distances to deliver a more personalized service and represents a powerful platform for the medical value travel industry by making it an efficient Health care System.

Today’s primary concern for implementing and integrating home telehealth in the current health system is the ease of online payment, including international payment mode for International patients. Like National Telemedicine, an efficient telemedicine portal for international patients can make remarkable changes and boost the MVT.

Co-founder of International Healthcare consulting Company- Vaidam.com (Vaidam Health) Mr. Pankaj Chandna says, “Vaidam Health connects with many domestic and International patients over telecall daily basis. Patients tele-consult the desired Doctor with the assistance of the Vaidam health team, giving patients a better choice regarding their healthcare needs. With more than 100000+ patients from 125+ countries in the last eight years, Vaidam Health has provided the best healthcare access to the world.

About the author, Jenifer Choudhary heads marketing and branding at Vaidam.com, India’s leading medical travel assistance company. She has 15+ years of experience in the medical travel industry, having worked with some of India’s leading hospital brands.

Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday, highlighting his commitment to environmental sustainability.

His achievements go beyond these recent events. As a former IAS officer, he has an impressive track record of public service. During his time in the civil service, he served in various capacities in the government of Andhra Pradesh, including as the Collector of East Godavari district, Joint Secretary in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Director General of the National Academy of Customs, Excise, and Narcotics.

Arthshatra Gurukul Creating Buzz Towards Financial Literacy

Arthashastra Gurukul, a economics school providing guidance to investors, traders or professionals in vedic way

New Delhi (India), March 9: Sudipta Das (Founder of Arthashastra Gurukul, www.arthashastragurukul.com ) specializing in “Time cycle, Gann & Vedic Astronomy”. Through his 15 years of Research & Technique, he is helping thousands of Investors, Traders, Hedge fund managers, & Asset Managers with his Calculative forecast.

“SD” is a Civil engineer, Management Graduate & Masters’ in communications. He is a 3 times business plan finalist, from an international university on “cost optimization”, and worked with almost all the countries that India does business with, Viz, USA, UK, AU, EU, and Africa.

His highly sophisticated mathematical calculation is based on the notion; TIME is the only element that determines the price of any financial instrument, Viz; Economy, Stock, Index, Gold Silver, or Copper. His calculations, The TRILOGY- combines, Time cycle, Gann & Vedic Astronomy, serving many investors, Traders & Financial planners, the Trilogy, is not available worldwide and is capable of forecasting the price of any financial instrument rather economy much prior to the actual happenings.

‘Arthashastra Gurukul’, a subsidiary of Lumiere Group of Companies, Arthashastra means economics; Gurukul means school, the economics school, is providing guidance to 100s of investors, traders, or professionals in forecasting the economy, industry, sectors or stocks in much advance. The students of Gurukul are able to predict market and its direction much prior to the actual happenings.

Arthashastra, the Upaveda, represents Atharva Veda, and is the ancient Indian literature from the Vedic era is a comprehensive treatise on statecraft and economics that has been influential in Indian political and economic thought for centuries. The text, which is attributed to the philosopher and statesman Kautilya, is believed to have been written in the 3rd century BCE, and it provides detailed guidance on how to establish and maintain a successful state and its’ economics. It, also recognizes the importance of pragmatism, and it guides how to balance ethical considerations with the practical demands of governance.

While it,  was not specifically written with modern stock market trading in mind, but, it’s much more than our modern economics, investment, or trading practices, when you combine arthashastra, the upveda, with other Vedam and vedangam, viz, Upanishad, siksha, byakarana, kalpa, jyotishya, etc. Even jyotishya has 18 principles; one talks about planatory positions, rest 17 is all about astronomy and astrophysics, this opens up the door to a universal approach to numbers and time.

So, The Arthashastra Gurukul has designed the wisdom, Dhi Gyan, that combines ancient Indian mathematical calculation with modern investing strategies, so, the new aged investors stay ahead of its competitors, and institutional investors- the wisdom also emphasizes the importance of information and intelligence gathering, adaptability and flexibility, which can be helpful for traders and investors who need to be able to adjust their strategies as market conditions change.

People lose money in the stock market due to a variety of reasons, One of the primary reasons is due to investing without proper research or understanding of the market, without knowing when to invest, Time is the most important element of investing. Many people invest based on a hot tip or without proper analysis of the stock’s cycles, or cycles under cycle, leading to poor investment decisions.

Another reason is not diversifying their portfolio, every instrument, industry, company, or stocks has its own cycle, time, and pattern, as putting all your eggs in one basket can lead to significant losses if that particular stock or sector underperforms based on its time cycle. Additionally, selling stocks at a loss in a panic is another common mistake. Many investors get scared during market downturns, which could have been forecasted months back, and sell their stocks for a loss, which can significantly impact their overall portfolio returns.

Economic conditions, geopolitical events, and company performance can also impact stock prices and lead to investment losses. External factors such as global pandemics or political unrest can create uncertainty and cause investors to sell stocks, leading to a drop in prices.

Those principles from the ancient Indian literatures could be useful for investors and traders in these regards too, the movement of any stock bond or commodity or the social, political or economic unrest also can be caught much prior to the actual happenings, as there is nothing new under the sun, everything is just a repetition of the past- which lies within its 360 degree and its 4th dimentional no. 9.

In summary, it is essential to have a well-planned investment strategy based on the Time cycle and to stay informed and patient during fluctuations in the market. Investing with a long-term outlook, diversifying your portfolio based on each industry or company cycle, and keeping emotions in check can all help mitigate the risks of losing money in the stock market.

(“ArthshtraGurukul”) www.arthashastragurukul.com, running Gurukul to make people aware and teach how Time cycles are most important factor in the stock market because they provide traders and investors with insights into the timing of price movements. No other available methods can match these next generation investing strategies. People, institution, experts are scamming and misleading people with Price, support target or resistance, without considering the basics of pricing, which is just a reflection of time. They don’t know, if you can catch the time of any financial instrument, stocks, bond, or commodity price automatically fall in place.

Price’ of any financial instrument is measured on two axis, Viz; Y & X Axis. The vertical axis, Y, the price is the reflection of any commodity or financial instrument, on a specified time period, which is represented on X’ axis. But, most of our education system, B-school, Economic school, or Ivy League school have no measures to catch the TIME, Which have already been mentioned by our ancestor’s thousands of years back in Vedam, Vedangam, or Suryasidhhantam.

By analyzing past price movements and identifying recurring patterns, traders can use time cycles to make predictions about future price movements and determine when to buy or sell stocks. Additionally, time cycles help traders to identify potential support and resistance levels, which can be used to set stop-loss orders or profit targets. However, it’s important to note that time cycles are just one of many tools used in stock market analysis, and should be used in conjunction with other indicators and strategies, which are all taught in Arthashatra Gurukul.

ArthshtraGurukul  take admission only once or twice a year, and every class of people takes participation in the Gurukul, majority of people are from the stock market/stock trading/Investment/ students / or working personals, doing wonders in their investing as a career.

A participant of Arthshastra Gurukul learns the market or economic statuesque much prior to the actual happening. They learn to calculate the time of each Industry, sector, company, or its stock’s cycle, so, he knows in advance when the stock, index is going to fall or rise, or how long it’s going to go in a particular direction. The rise or fall of a stock is directly proportionate to its cycle or conjunction of industry, sector, or economic cycles.

The success rate of ArthshtraGurukul is fabulous and people understand the stock market and the phenomena better than before they are making profits, identifying themselves as different, as and better than others in the industry.

How this Facebook based startup fights illegal discrimination between tenants and landlords in India?

New Delhi (India), March 9: It was 2014 when a law student was sitting outside her flat with all her baggage and books, crying and having no idea where to go at midnight. She had left her flat, her first rental experience in a new city, her flatmates had turned sour, and there were multiple issues with the landlord and the society.

Every broker she called showed her low-quality flats or asked for advance brokerage, which she paid until she broke or attended society interviews where she was looked down upon and turned away. She knew that such interviews were illegal, and yet, she did not have an option otherwise.

Teaming up with her friend, Chirag Pandya, an MBA in Marketing, Finance & Human Resources, she  decided to open a Facebook group in Ahmedabad called ‘Flat and Flatmates Ahmedabad’ with only 10 members but a vision to “build a community, help each other find flats and flatmates, filter good  brokers and properties, help people avoid scams and scandals, raise awareness in societies and  tenants regarding their rights and responsibilities, emergency accommodation and SOS Community.”

Gradually, they expanded Flat and Flatmates to 115 cities worldwide and more than 25 lakh members.

Every day, they take more than 100 calls, solve fights between landlords, tenants, societies, and real estate agents, pay guest accommodation managers, inspect the authenticity of paying guest facility providers,  review and blacklist properties and help weed out the latest cyber financial crimes.

One of the key reasons new members feel disappointment while finding a property on rent, says co-founder Adv. Priya Sogani is because they assume that it is going to be an instant solution. Small steps like checking your spam folder, leaving polite messages on requirement posts, and checking the group for new posts every 2 hours for a few months are a must to get the best property in budget.

I explain this to all those who personally message me to get a flat on rent. Often, after some time, I  receive a message from them telling me that they found a flat from the group, and this is the reason that keeps us motivated to continue the work.

However, running this social enterprise is not easy. There is a lack of active volunteers for offline work.  We are living in a digital world flooded with suggestions and comments. The current members show wonderful support in solving a tenant’s problems outside courtrooms through mediation. But there are always more cases to solve, outnumbering the volunteers.
